This also literally goes against Naval's reasoning. A legitimate FPS drop would look somewhat to what you've provided. You've single handedly contributed evidence which goes against Naval's point so I want to congratulate you on that.
I wasn't informed on the rule at the time of the event; unlike Naval who claimed he is aware of the rule. I already had a long discussion with Tails which doesn't concern you. I am now obviously aware of the rule, so if you have anything after that incident I'd appreciate it.
You're now stating Naval made a mistake and had a bad moment rather than an FPS drop. Essentially you're digging yourself a grave. There's multiple so called reasons and excuses made up that people reading this thread don't know what to believe anymore.
1st paragraph, think u didnt read well enough, how to be aware of rule if there isnt any rule about giving away points in wff os?
2nd one, how can u judge fps drops? There might be some huge ones or tiny ones, ridiculous
3rd, you are supposed to read rules on your own, not to be informed what you are allowed to do and what you are not.. Nice discussion that ffs actually removed rule at one point after ur intentional throwing, and edited it to different version just for u
And 4th, try reading again and get the idea of what people want to say, the one who stated that Naval played as rpg player was Adidas, not me, i just merely counter-argumented
(writing from phone, sorry)

This is such a 1+1=3 comment. Any kind of FPS drop results in an elastic-band effect. Even beginners would know this.

You do realise that firstly, I was out of MTA for a while. I never realised a new rule was implemented into the tournament. Secondly, if someone reads the rules once, you expect it to be the same for the upcoming same styled tournaments.

You counter-arguing by saying it was a mistake and not an FPS drop says enough already.
Re: WFF 20 - 1/2 finals and Final
It seems that all FFS is against Naval, I’m even surprised that they took the trouble to look up a video of the WFF OS and fix every detail if it did that lol.
Anyway, if that’s the case, they should look at more players because it’s always been done and because it’s "Naval" only he gets disqualified. Even I did it myself and they never told me anything, most use secondary accounts, other computers and play as if nothing, others play for others, and I mean again, they also give points to others.
And don’t tell me it’s not like that, because even I’ve reported people with a high school account or another computer, and I know people who also reported for it and nothing was ever done.
Re: WFF 20 - 1/2 finals and Final
we know the Naval erred, but could talk before and understand or let him explain himself, give him a chance, and let him play.
Re: WFF 20 - 1/2 finals and Final
Re: WFF 20 - 1/2 finals and Final
Imagine disqualifying naval for that tiny bit of a "proof" you guys provided there, literally proves nothing imo. ffs kinda fuckin with naval rn and it's funny to see that especially people, who broke that rule, trynna bring naval down and act like their cases were different, pathetic.
Re: WFF 20 - 1/2 finals and Final
Re: WFF 20 - 1/2 finals and Final
At least Naval helped gteatero to pass semi final

I can give you many examples that you do not know. Who's who drove the car slowly or failed on purpose.
If you watch good players carefully, you learn their race lines. How to brake at which point, or how to turn. The way everyone plays is different. You can't know if that person is doing it on purpose or not. Since I watch the players carefully, I know their race lines. In past WFF tournaments, many players gave points to friends but you didn't notice. Because you don't know their race lines or their car control. I really do not understand. How can you judge a small movement like this?
Moreover, the person you accuse is Naval. A person who always tries to be fair in clan wars and keeps the environment calm. And you don't believe his words.
I hope you review your decision and make a better decision. I don't think this decision is objective.
Re: WFF 20 - 1/2 finals and Final
Sad to see this, Naval is a great player probably the best right now
Same type of situation happened with triplex which was told it was a bounce but it seemed it was made intentionally to some people. FPS Drop from a person who has 320ping and 20ping has different impact on eyes imo, in this situation you cant 100% prove it.
Can we prevent such things? maybe by removing the names of the players playing live (like shooter), or the players can see only their name and points on script so they dont know if its worth doing it,
Look for solutions dont disqualify people for something you have fault on aswell
Re: WFF 20 - 1/2 finals and Final
Let him play for fuck sake
Be faster then and reach 1st place and don't cry about things like that, dunno

huh? I even confirmed that I slowed down for Shael to get 3pts that time, it was 13/20 map and it was group stage , not 1/2 to Finals. It was solved with warning, I actually didnt play the next stage :P. S(Shael didnt pass anyway).
There is always a different version that he got FPS Drop or he “made” a mistake. Of course Im not against anyone, but you cannot change version after version :/
Re: WFF 20 - 1/2 finals and Final
Well, I want to say my point of view about this.
I'm wondering why you focused so much on what happened with Naval and, instead, in other cases you didn't even say a word. Here is a recent example:
WFF 20 1/4 Final 5 https://youtu.be/l7Hy1qOoQqU?t=5565
Let's consider the last round in darius v2.
Partyz was first from the beginning of the map and drove perfectly to the end. But at the last wallride perhaps because he received some PM he decided to slow down and take a much higher jump to let Madlife pass. In this way Madlife would have had 1 more point than Triplex and would have gone to the semifinals with certainty without counting the victories.
I am not trying to go against Partyz, he is a very cool and smart person, but I am trying to bring up another recent case similar at this. And that wasn't a group stage it was for acceding the semifinals so it wasn't an irrilevant case.
Now Partyz will play the final I'm wondering why Naval isn't there with him.
Also I would like to say, and probably you already know, that the rule needs to be changed. It says: " Throwing with intention to help another player with points will be reviewed by organizers in order to decide if there will be a punishment.".
It is very weak at the moment and not clear at all, it seems like you have the power to decide when to use or not.

And that's what I'm trying to say. Since the rule is unclear you should learn from this cases and modify it for the next tournaments without taking strong and weird decisions like this one.
Now I wish everyone a good day, bye.
Re: WFF 20 - 1/2 finals and Final
You can’t drive a map perfectly every time even if you’re naval the machine, just let him play Jesus others could play aswell after breaking this rule so why not him aswell
Re: WFF 20 - 1/2 finals and Final
Closing this down since most of you can’t seem to maintain a civil, on-topic discussion.
We will be investigating Naval’s case further within the upcoming days - if anything, changes will be announced before the Final is played. Thanks to everyone who managed to leave a relevant input on this.
Re: WFF 20 - 1/2 finals and Final
Final decision about Naval's case.
I've been thinking about this situation for the whole day in work. Naval gets first and last warning for helping his friends to pass to further stage. Naval will play in the final. If we see in upcoming events that he slow downs/fails on purpose to help anyone it will end up with getting disqualification from tournament in which he broke the rule, for example this season of L7, if we see that you help your mates or any other person to get MVP it will end up with being DSQ from whole season.
Also Partyz gets a first and last warning for helping others to pass (1/4 final 5).
All what I want to see a fair matches in tournaments but with such moves whole tournament loses spirit of the real competition. If you can't win/play in a fair way then better don't register for tournament. We will have our eyes focused on players who tried to help others to gain points.
Each tournament will have this rule added to prevent such situations.
Throwing with intention to help another player with points will end up with being disqualified from the tournament.
From now on, anyone who will be caught in helping mates/players to gain points will be DSQ from the tournament, no matter who you are.
Remember that in the future if you sign up for tournament, it means that you agree about our rules and you will follow them.
