I must agree with you somehow , still , decorations make a map better ,you can't just have a map without deco nowdays , but as I think , some people do that because they like it , using creativity in other ways than making the track .

As I said, these "mappers" already failed creating their maps. It is freaking easy to create some loops, wallrides and straights with toolbox, cover it with tons of trees and buildings and release it. You are done within few hours. But if you take a look at Claudio's or Vortex's maps, you can feel the months of work, you immediately notice the feel of details. Many try to copy it, but they fail.

Mapper with awesome ideas like vortex / claudio have to balance their maps , having the decos as good as the track

Then they have to 'downgrade' their deco. But as I said before, it's matter of taste/opinion. So vEnom's statement "maps have to be balanced, or else nobody will like it" is false anyway...

Everyone's free to say his opinion about the respective thing , that's why there's the possibility of commenting . So everyone has his/her own opinion . If we go to youtube @ the comments on vortex's v12 you'll see that not everyone enjoys the map and he/she is saying that more or less rude or different .
